How Spoon2 Works

RF Wireless Technology - The remote monitoring system uses the latest in wireless technology linking critical appliances to the control panel, without the need for wiring, cables or mains electricity, which can be unsightly, or prone to damage - accidental or otherwise.

RF Wireless Transmitter 1. Using short wires to temperature or pressure sensors, up to three channels of analogue data are collected by the data transmitter.

2. This data is sent out on a low power radio carrier every 100 seconds, or when the alarm is activated.

3. The data is collected by the Spoon2 datahub, stored and examined for alarm conditions.

Spoon2 Datahub
4.
All the collected data is sent to our web server everyday, or immediately upon any alarm conditions occurring.

5. At our server the data is securely stored on our database and is immediately available for interrogation in real time, or historically.

Spoon2 Datacentre 6. The Spoon2 alarm monitoring centre is online 24 hours a day to act upon all alarms.

7. All collected data is always available on our server database for generating historical reports, charts and audit trails.
